What do I do if my credit card is declined on Carhistory.com.au?
For Australian credit card holders: Consumers with Australian credit cards are restricted to purchasing 2 reports per credit card in a 24 hour period. If you have tried to purchase a third report on the same credit card number within 24 hours, you will receive an error message saying your ‘credit card is declined’. This does not mean the bank had declined your credit card, it is www.carhistory.com.au that has declined your credit card. The 24 hour period commences at the date/time the first report is purchased. You can either:
For International credit card holders: Consumers who have international credits cards are unable to buy vehicle reports on carhistory.com.au. If you have tried to use an international credit card and received an error message that your ‘credit card has been declined’, this does not mean that your bank has declined your card, but that Carhistory.com.au has declined your card. You can purchase reports with an Australian issued credit card.
